Project Management Essentials for the Environmental Professionals Part 1

If you're like many environmental science and engineering professionals, you became a project manager because you mastered the technical aspects of your work.  But modern project management is a descipline that traces its origins to the 1960's.  Understanding and applying the project management discipline will leverage your technical skills to improve project performance, reduce stress, and accelerate career growth.

This two- part webinar series, based on the Project Management  Institute's (PMI) Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK), is designed specifically for the environmental professional.  We'll begin with an overview of project management systems and cover the essentials of project scoping, planning, communications, finance, and quality management.

The course is designed so that participants make take Session 1 or both Session 1 and 2.
