Based upon Mr. McCutchen's Advanced New Source Review (NSR) Workshop, this new three-part webinar series will guide participants through practical application of PSD/Nonattainment NSR air permitting concepts using examples and case studies. Participants will receive a working knowledge of the basic PSD/NSR concepts, including PSD Program and Nonattainment NSR Applicability (including evaluating what constitutes a source and whether exemptions apply to a project); emissions increase calculations (Baseline Actual Emissions (BAE), Projected
Actual Emissions (PAE)) for projects, including new, existing, debottlenecked units and increased utilization netting; and two analyses: ambient air increment consumption and Best Available Control Technology (BACT).
This Series is a follow-up of our recent Webinar Series Permitting the Majors (or “BACT to Basicsâ€) and is recommended for mid- to upper-level consultants, industry officials and regulators / permit writers. Because it builds on the basic information covered in the previous webinar, this webinar is recommended only for attendees of the previous webinar and persons already familiar with the basics of NSR.
