Changing Tides: Environmental Regulation, Administration Policy, and the Courts - Part 2

The Trump Administration and EPA continue to make sweeping changes as part of an overall effort to review and/or reconsider multiple environmental regulatory rules and policies. The US Supreme Court is poised to decide whether federal law precludes state-law claims seeking relief for injuries allegedly caused by the effects of greenhouse-gas emissions on the global climate. The panel will provide a general overview of these actions, provide more specific insight into several of EPA’s proposed and final rules and discuss the implications of the Supreme’s Court ruling.
